Veronica Ann (Luszik) Fox

Fox, Veronica Ann, (Luszik), 83, Portage, passed away December 9, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 11, 1937 in Summerhill Twp., the daughter of John Walter, Sr. and Nellie (Kolat) Luszik. Deceased family members include her parents; husband, Joseph F. Fox; brother, John Luszik, Jr. Survived by sons, Joseph Stephen Fox (Dianne Minor); John A. Fox (Brenda Minor). Brian M. Fox (Nam IM Lee). Grandchildren, Joseph S. Fox, Jr (Kim); Michael A. Fox (Kelli); Alicia (Aaron) Burkle;  Amy (Robert) Hazlett; Lisa (Lucas) Miller; Joshua (Micaela) Fox.  12 great grandchildren; Sister of Nellie (Ken) Diehl. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Former seamstress for K&B Sewing Factory and served as union president of local 653 Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers of America. Also worked in the dietary department at Ebensburg Center. An Avid pinochle and bingo player and also enjoyed going to casinos and sporting events of her sons and grandchildren. She was very active in local politics serving as a Democratic Committee Woman.  In her most recent years she loved spending time with and supporting her great grandchildren. A Lifelong member of St. Bartholomew Church and St. Anne's Society. Due to COVID-19 regulations and the large extended family visitation and Funeral Mass will be private for the immediate family.  Committal in the Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Bartholomew's Church or The Portage Ambulance Assoc.
