Veronica Jean (Katchur) Baker

Baker, Veronica Jean., 89, of Summerhill Twp. passed away December 5, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center. Born August 31, 1931 in Dunlo, PA; the daughter of Adam and Anna Katchur. Preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Michael D. Baker Jr, brothers, Andy, George, John, Joseph, sisters Betty Labyack, Mary Rager, Agnes Sermulis,  Ann Paluchak. Survived by sister Dorothy Katchur.  Sons David (Ruth Smith), Sidman; Mark (Joyce Soltis), Dunlo; Daniel, Summerhill Twp; and Michael A. (Irene Swiokla), Elton. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Jaime (Louis) McCloskey, Adam, Josh (Lindsay Roush), Jared (Olivia Faiad), Michael, Brittany (Ryan Lombardi); great-grandchildren Kaydien, Kai and Luke. Veronica enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, baking, church bus trips, dancing and listening to polka music. Friends received from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Masks and social distancing required. Committal in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Beaverdale.
