Thomas McCabe Obituary

McCabe, Thomas  76, Martindale passed away Feb. 28, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Apr. 29, 1945 the son of William and Victoria (Discavage) McCabe. Deceased family members include his parents; brothers, William; Donald; Alvin "Mush"; and Bernard "Tuffy" McCabe; sister, Joyce Baxter; and sister in law Betty McCabe.  Survived by loving wife Kumiko (Ozumi) McCabe and children, Michelle  Carroll (Robert Waldroop); Victoria (Todd) Niper; Thomas McCabe; and Nathan ( Nanami) McCabe. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Alexandria (Scott) Sekerak, Rachael Carroll, Todd Niper (Angel Ports), Emily Niper, Eita McCabe, and Maya McCabe, and 5 great grandchildren. Brother of Dolores (Gerald) Stombaugh; Raymond  McCabe; Bonnie (Jack) Rakar; and Connie McCabe. Also survived by  brother in law, Wally Baxter; sister in law, Shirley McCabe and numerous nieces and nephews. Tom's greatest passion was his love of his family. Tom was known for his musical abilities with the Banjo and Mandolin and his singing voice. He was an avid fisherman. He was a Sergeant in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era.  At. Tom's request there will be no viewing or visitation. A Life Celebration will be held at a later date. The Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage is serving the McCabe Family.
