Susann M. Geriak

Geriak, Susann M., 94, passed away June 6, 2019 in New Jersey. Born November 23, 1924 in Portage, the daughter of Andrew and Julia (Mihalko) Geriak. Deceased family members include her parents, brothers Michael Timo, John, Nicholas, Andrew, Leo, George and Bill Geriak, sisters Helen (Timo) Pirich, Anna (Timo) Cooke and Mary (Geriak) Chambers. She is the last member of her immediate family. She is survived by sisters in law, Viola (March) Geriak, and Carol Geriak as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Before moving to New Jersey in 2012, Sue lived in New York City for over 60 years and worked as an Executive Secretary for the Standard Oil Company, which became ExxonMobil. She also volunteered in the Pediatric Dept. of Sloan Kettering Hospital in NY City for many years. Friends received from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Parish, Caldwell Ave., Portage. Fr. Thomas Stabile, TOR celebrant. Committal in St. Michael's Russian Orthodox Cemetery.
