Ference, Steve, 84, Pittsburgh, passed away February 20, 2022. Born January 5, 1938 in Lilly, the son of Michael and Anne (Dupirack) Ference. Deceased family members include his parents and sister Mary (Ference) Cowher. Survived by loving wife of 65 years, Joann (Muldoon) Ference; daughters Michele (Steve) DiTommaso, Antoinette (David) Lichty and son Steven (Carol) Ference. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Anthony DiTommaso, Steven (Megan) DiTommaso and Michael (Molly) DiTommaso; Danielle Lichty and Alexandra Lichty; Brooke Ference and Jake Ference; and great-granddaughters Lucy and Ivy DiTommaso. Also survived by sister Alice Ference and many Muldoon sisters-in-laws, brothers-in laws, nieces and nephews. U.S. Air Force Veteran. Retired machinist from Ingersoll Rand. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid Steelers fan. Friends received 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Catholic Church, Lilly. Fr. Timothy Harris, TOR, celebrant. Committal in St. Brigid Cemetery, Lilly. Military Rites by the Lilly Veterans Organization.
