Cafeo, Samuel, 88, Lilly, passed away October 28, 2025 at home. Born August 7, 1937 in Sankertown, the son of John and Theresina (De Paolis Foglietta) Cafeo. Deceased family members include his parents; wife, Patricia (Melotti) Cafeo; sister, Rose "Penny" Torres; brothers, Larry Peruzzi and Anthony Cafeo. Survived by sons, David (Heather) and Joseph (Missy); and daughter, Teresa, wife of Timothy Miller; grandchildren, Trenton, Troy, Tessa, Joseph, Nikki, Leah, and Stori. Brother of, John (Jeri) Cafeo. Also survived several nieces, nephews, and beloved members of the Melotti family both living and deceased. Retired from the Ebensburg Center Department of Public Welfare after 35 years service. Member of the Pennsylvania National Guard with 20 plus years of service. His whole world was seeing his family's success and loving them. Enjoyed gardening, cutting grass on his John Deere, walking in the woods, and playing the Solitaire card game. Friends received from 4 to 8 PM Sunday at the Serenko Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Monday at St, Francis Xavier Church, Cresson. Fr. Leo Arnone, Celebrant.
