Ryan A. Steele

Steele, Ryan, A., 27, known as "Ronnie" to many, of Portage, passed away July 4, 2025 as the result of a motorcycle accident in Portage Twp. Born July 8, 1997 in Johnstown, the son of Jennifer (Steele) Ronczka. Deceased family members include, great-grandparents, Anthony and Irene Mastaler, Sr.; Glenn and Thelma Steele, Sr.; Great-Aunt, Diane Shrader; cousin, Raymond Shrader, Jr; and grandfather, Hank Ronczka. Survived by mother and Stepfather Jason Ronczka; sister, Emma Richards; grandparents, Glenn and Cynthia (Mastaler) Steele, Jr.; grandmother, Susan Ronczka; uncle, Michael Steele and wife Jennifer and their daughters, Alexia (George) and Makenzee; Aunt Kelly Shamonsky and Bob and children, Dylan and Sadie. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ryan enjoyed motorcycle riding, snowboarding, golfing, playing his guitar, and spending time with family and friends. Ryan will also be missed by his puppy Nyla. Ryan's smile and laugh lit up every room he walked into. He easily made friends everywhere he went. Ryan supported his family and friends however he could and wanted to see them be happy. The Steele family is so grateful for all his friends who were like his second family. We would love to hear about your adventures with him. Friends received from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday at Holy Family Parish, Caldwell Avenue, Portage, Father Tom Stabile, celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Portage.
