Ruth Mae Earnest

Earnest, Ruth Mae, 94, Portage, passed away June 29, 2021 at Rose of Sharon Home. Born September 15, 1926 in New Beauna Vista, the daughter of Clarence and Margaret (Miller) Turner. Deceased family members include her parents, husband Charles, daughter Charlotte, sons Charles and Randy, grandson Jason, great-granddaughter Deanna and great-great granddaughter Ava Marie. She is survived by her son William (Mary Louise) of Portage, daughter-in-law Tonya of Salix, son Ronald (Dolores) of Ephrata, daughter Debra (Philip) Sauger of Penryn, daughter-in-law, Kathi of Akron. daughter Patricia (Leonard) Kurtz of Stevens and son Robert (Deanna) of Johnstown. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Jen, Tina, Bill, Lynn, Laura, Niki, Nadia, Phil Jr, Johanna, Joshua, Jessie and Leah; as well as her 17 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Marie Harrison and husband Gilbert of Maryland as well as several nieces. She enjoyed playing bingo, going on bus trips, traveling to casinos, shopping and going to the senior center. Friends received from 10-12 on Saturday July 10th, 2021 at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage where funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Committal in Richland Cemetery.
