Roseann C. (Wilson) Shaffer

Shaffer, Roseann C. (Wilson), 85, passed away January 24, 2020 in Deltona, FL, and was formerly of Portage.  Born February 21, 1934 in Fifficktown, the daughter of Francis and Frances (Greene) Wilson. Deceased family members include her parents, husband, Howard L. Shaffer and brother Francis M. "Junior" Wilson.  Survived by daughter, Barbara Ann, wife of Charles Letzo, Oviedo, FL; and son, Randy Shaffer, married to the former Karen (Poet), Duncansville; grandchildren, Alicia, Tonia, Matthew, Ryan, and Amanda; great grandchildren,  Liam, Sara, Lucy, Angie, Kayla, Isabel, Brannick, and Jaxon; Sister of, George William Wilson and his wife, Joyce; and Sonny Stahl. Retired Dietary Aid for the former Laurel Crest Manor.  She was an avid baker and was well known for nut rolls, also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking, and dogs.  Friends received from 12 noon until time of services at 2 p.m., Tuesday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage.  Father Thomas Stabile, TOR, celebrant.  Committal will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Blue Knob.
