Rose M. (Loushine) Schnars

Schnars, Rose M. (Loushine), 75, of Portage, passed away, December 6, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center. Born January 22, 1948, in Minnesota, the daughter of Louis and Rose (Hietala) Loushine. Deceased family members include her parents, husband, David Schnars; and numerous brothers and sisters; and son-in-law, Ryan Behe. Survived by children, David (Tina) Schnars; Eugene Schnars, Frances Behe; and Steven (Holly) Schnars. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Zachery; Anthony; Ethan; Megan; Kyle; Matthew; and Jessica; great grandchildren, Everleigh and Maverik. Also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, and was a member of The AMVETS ladies Auxiliary, Portage. Friends received from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, December 14, 2023 at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2023, with Pastor Jerry Zuvers, officiating.
