Rose "Babe" (Karduck) Graham

Graham, Rose "Babe" (Karduck), 99, Portage, went to be with the Lord on September 28, 2025 at her daughter Linda's home and in her arms. Rose was born November 7, 1925 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Martin and Mary (Cesacka) Karduck. Deceased family members  include her parents, husband Walter L. Graham, January 6, 2013, whom she married February 23, 1949; son, Bruce Graham, July 20, 1980; son-in-law James Galla, September 25, 2016; brothers and sisters, Ann Karder, Kathryn Baith, and John Karduck, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is the last member of her immediate family. Survived by loving daughter, Linda Galla and numerous nieces and nephews. She was formerly employed by Sauces during WWII, Red Beet farm in Minnesota, and Sammies restaurant. Babe enjoyed, bus trips to Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Ontario, Canada, Cape Cod, MA, on a one month see America bus tour and visiting her brother's home in Kissimee, FL. She enjoyed playing bingo and slot machines. An avid reader and when her vision failed she enjoyed listening to audio books. She was an excellent cook, especially looked forward to the Holidays. Special thank you to Conemaugh Hospice team, Dr. Don Ratchford and especially mom's nurse Carolyn and aides, Jen, Gina, Sue, and Ashley, and volunteer Mary; they were all Angels on earth. Friends received from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday at Holy Family Parish, Portage with Father Tom Stabile, T.O.R., officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Portage Public Library.
