Robert E. Burket Jr.

Burket, Jr., Robert Ellis, 59, of Portage, passed away June 12, 2022 at home. Born June 7, 1963 in Roaring Spring, the son of Robert Burket Sr. and Shirley Albright. Deceased family members include his father, grandparents Mahlon and Elizabeth Burket and Edna and John Causer. Survived by his mother, daughter Eva Wissinger and granddaughter Devine Wissinger of Altoona; fiance Paula Miller and her son Bryce Miller; brothers Ryan Burket, and Jason Burket; sisters Pat Schafer and Robin Flanagan. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Retired from Portage Power Wash, E.F. Smith Trucking of Roaring Spring and Helsels Lumber Mill. He enjoyed doing mechanical work, riding quads and helping others. He was always quick to lend a hand and was very well liked in Portage and Martinsburg area. He also loved his cats and dogs. He will be missed by so many. The services and burial will be private. The Burket family is being served by the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage.
