Richard J. McKrush, Sr.

McKrush, Richard Sr., 61, Portage passed away October 29, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. Born May 14, 1957, the son of Joseph J., Jr. and Edith (Brown) McKrush. Deceased family members include his parents; wife, Melissa McKrush; sons Richard J. McKrush, Jr. and Michael A. McKrush and brother David McKrush. Survived by daughter Amy (Rick) Westover and son, Justin McKrush; grandchildren, Alexa McKrush, Ayden, Nolan and Camdyn Westover; sisters Mary Lou (George) Poorman, Linda McKrush, Donna (Mark) Slothower, Barb McKrush, and special friend Rick Keith, and Patty (Marty) LeComte. Also survived by in-laws Carol, wife of James Boney; Donna, wife of Alfred Hritz; Gary Nagy married to the former Patricia Yanik, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Retired from Bethlehem Steel/FreightCar America. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Friends received from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, where funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday; Pastor Jerry Zuvers officiating. Committal in Saint Mary's Cemetery, New Germany.
