Jackson, Philip Roy, Jr., 67, passed away January 20, 2022 at home. Born Oct. 9, 1954 in Altoona, the son of Philip R. Sr. and Patricia R. (McCarthy) Jackson. Deceased family members include his parents and an unborn son. Survived by his loving wife Linda J. (Adams) Jackson, whom he married on Dec. 8, 1973. Also survived by his children, Christopher and wife Rachel, West Grove, PA; Jared and wife Kaila, Columbia Station, Ohio; and Tessa Jackson, Blue Knob. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Zachary Jackson, West Grove; and Piper and Henry Jackson of Columbia Station, Ohio. Brother of John (Connie) Jackson; Richard (Brenda) Jackson; and Ronald (Star) Jackson, all of Blue Knob; Michael (Judy) Jackson, Stuart, FL; and Dianna (James) Frampton, Hobe Sound, FL. Phil was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and Control Data Institute of Arlington Va. He was employed as a computer technician with several firms in the Washington, DC and Oceanport, NJ areas. He left the computer field as a Senior Field Engineer with Perkin-Elmer. Phil then began his self employment career as a partner in Jackson Excavating and retired from Phil Jackson General Contracting in 2015. He was a life member of the NRA. Friends received from 6 to 8 PM Monday Jan. 24, 2022 at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, where funeral services will be held at 11AM Tuesday. Pastors Jonas Hight and Aaron McCarty officiating. Committal in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to Ft.
