Simala, Sr., Paul A., 65 of Portage, passed away October 28, 2025.
Born January 21, 1960 in Johnstown, the son of Michael and Gladys (Miller) Simala. Deceased family members include his parents; brothers, Michael and Walter "Tom" Simala; nephews, Craig Thomas Simala; and David A. Sybert. Survived by son, Paul A. Simala, Jr.; sister, Theresa, wife of David Sybert, and good friend "Raggs". Also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends. Retired Iron Worker from American Erection of Pennsylvania. Paul was a member of the Sons of the AMVETS Post 150, Portage, and he enjoyed Bass fishing and Golf. A special thank you to Conemaugh Hospice for their loving care. Friends received from 4-7, p.m., Thursday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, where funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, Pastor Jerry Zuvers, officiating.
