Paul E. Maloskey Sr.

Maloskey, Paul E. Sr., 92 Portage died Mar. 19, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Jan. 16, 1930 in Gallitzin, the son of Anthony and Catherine Maloskey. Deceased family members include his parents; sons, Joseph Maloskey and Paul Maloskey, Jr; grandson, Gordon Krug, Jr.; and all his brothers and sisters. He is the last member of his immediate family. Survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Jean (Latoche) Maloskey and children, Anthony (Katherine) Maloskey; Christine (Leo) Jubina; Barbara (Tim) White; Thomas (Marybeth) Maloskey; and Marcy Myers and fiancee Steve Chopick. He will be sadly missed by his 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Retired from Conrail car shops with 40 years service. Founder, builder and former owner/operator of Maple Crest Golf Course. Paul was a devout Catholic, a former member of Sacred Heart Ushers Club,  and was very proud of his Polish heritage. He was also an avid golfer and fisherman. Friends received from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday at Holy Family Parish, Portage. Fr. Thomas Stabile, T.O.R. Celebrant. Entombment in Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Military Funeral Rites by the Portage Ritual Team.
