Nancy A. (Hellard) Fox

Fox, Nancy A. (Hellard), 81, Portage, passed away July 26, 2021 at home. Born November 1, 1939 in Scranton, PA, the daughter of Frank  and Julia (Hornick) Hellard. She was the loving wife of the late Walter J. Fox, Sr. Deceased family members include her parents, daughter Jennifer,  stepsister Margaret Greenand, stepbrother Robert Hellard and common law husband Stanley Oravacz. She is survived by her children Agnes "Taffy", wife of David Wilson, Carolyn "Carr", wife of Sam Pace, Beverly Fox, Frances "Squeekie" , married to Scott Kopnicky, Walter J. Fox Jr. "Roscoe", married to the former Jeannie Meyers, Robert "Nanny", married to the former Bonita Michrina, Mary "Missy", married to Bill Kovachick, Joseph "Zeke" Fox, Nancy "Boo" married to Michael (Joe)  Yingling, Elizabeth "Schmonk" married to Theodore Castel  and Kathleen "Moochie" married to Robert Yingling. She will be sadly missed by her 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister Betty Hellard. Nancy retired from Sheetz after 21 years' service. She enjoyed helping people and collecting change. Her favorite pastime was knitting. She also worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson, N.J. She graduated from Eastside High School where the movie "Lean On Me" was made. Friends received from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday. Father Tom Stabile, TOR officiating. Committal in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Portage.
