Melinda Hope "Linny" (Wilson) Nicholson

It is with overwhelming sadness that Melinda Hope "Linny" Nicholson, has passed away. Melinda was born on January 24, 1965, at K.I. Sawyer Airforce Base in Marquette, MI. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Richard Wilson Jr., and Goldie L.F. (Hodge) Wilson, and sister, Donna Lee (Wilson) Hoover. Melinda was a woman with a heart that never stopped giving and was a warrior who battled Renal Disease/Failure for nearly 4 years. Melinda wanted to thank the amazing staff at Prodigy Dialysis for their continued care and comfort; especially her friend Kelly! Melinda is survived by her husband, Michael A. Nicholson, Sr., and her son, Michael A. Nicholson, Jr. and his spouse Jeff Rector.; siblings, Deborah, wife of Don Skelly; Richard Wilson and wife, Nikki; and Cynthia, widow of Richard George. Also survived by brothers-in-law, James, John, Joseph, and Patrick and their families. Melinda also deeply cared for her many nieces and nephews, and her special Cat "Itty".
