Matthew J. Mondick

Mondick, Matthew J., 44, Sidman, passed away July 18, 2019 at home. Born February 22, 1975 in Johnstown, the son of John and Patricia (Sheppard) Mondick Sr. Deceased family members include maternal grandparents, Euguene Sheppard and Margaret Sheppard-Brothers; paternal grandparents Michael and Margaret Mondick; infant granddaughter Madison Rose Davis and sister Samantha Jeanne Mondick. Survived by his parents, wife Kristie (Block) Mondick, children Nikkita (Kevin) Davis, Stephanie Mondick, Michelle (Zachary) Ems, Katherine Mondick, Zoey and Christopher Zuccolotto, Matthew Mondick Jr., and Emma Mondick, grandchildren; Kevin Davis Jr., Morrison Davis, Trevor and Waylon Wills and Jillianne Ems. Brother of John Jr., Jeff, SMG Jeremy, and Mark Mondick. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and target shooting. He also loved his dogs Liberty and Sophia. Friends received from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage where services will be held at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
