Wills, Mary Jane (Shingler), 87, of Portage, passed away February 19, 2025 at home. Born November 28, 1937 in Portage, the daughter of Rose Marie (Lotito) and Lawrence Shingler. Deceased family members include her husband, Louis P. Wills, Sr.; sons, Louis Paul, Jr.; and James Lawrence Wills; brother, David Shingler; and, sisters, Joann Rice, Mary Lou Blevins, Bonnie “Pat” Rusnak, and Sandra Kehn.Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Sister of, Shirley Durbin of Ebensburg, Carol Richardson of Portage, Ida Mae Foreman of Portage, William Shingler (Jan) of OH, Donald Shingler (David Williams) of MD, Ronald Shingler of Ebensburg, John Shingler (Susan) of Portage, Gary Shingler (Joan) of Portage and Robert Shingler of Dunlo. Janie enjoyed flowers and watching the old TV shows such as the Waltons and the Ingalls families and James Arnes. Janie also enjoyed her coffee and her goodies. Friends received from 5-6, p.m.,Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, where funeral services will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Pastor Gary Shingler, officiating.
