Mary (Belovsky) Ramus

Ramus, Mary (Belovsky), 88, of Portage, passed away, November 3, 2023 at Forest Hills Personal Care Home, Sidman. Born August 2, 1935 in Portage, the daughter of Vasil and Helen (Mihalko) Belovsky. Deceased family members include her parents, husband, Frank M. Ramus; brothers, Andrew and John Belovsky; and sister, Anna Yarosh. Survived by children, Joseph Ramus; Cindy, wife of Dennis Forosisky; Edward (Suzanne) Ramus; Ronald Ramus; and Lee Ann, wife of Chuck Makosky. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, brother, Bill Belovsky and sister-in-law, Joanne Belovsky. She enjoyed going to church, baking holiday rolls, cooking and canning. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the biggest joy of her life. Member of the Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship Church, Johnstown, where Funeral Services will be held at 11, Monday, Pastor James L. Gay, officiating. Friends received from 4-8 p.m., Sunday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Entombment will be in Holy Name Mausoleum.
