Mary Ann (Wisniewski) Nesbella

Nesbella, Mary Ann, (Wisniewski) 94, of Lilly, passed away August 9, 2023 at UPMC-Altoona Hospital. Born August 17, 1928 in Portage. The daughter of John and Agnes (Ease) Wisniewski. Deceased family members include her parents; Husband, Stephen G. Nesbella; Son Stephen Nesbella Jr.; Brothers, Walter and John Wisniewski Jr. Survived by children John, husband of Theresa (Ledwich) Nesbella, George, husband of Tammy (McDowell) Nesbella, Marie, wife of James Slattery, and Cecelia, wife of Bill Lipps. Five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Mary retired from the apparel factory in Lilly. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, and flower gardening. Mary was a devout catholic who was a member of Our Lady of the Alleghenies Church in Lilly. Friends received 4-8 p.m. Friday at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Church, Lilly, with Father Matthew Reese Celebrant. Committal at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Lilly.
