McGough, Mary "Arlene", 73 Harpers Ferry, West Virginia formerly of Portage, died Nov. 24, 2021 in Kearneysville, W. Va.. Born Oct. 28, 1948 in Johnstown the daughter of Hugh and Teresa (Kleman) McEwan. Preceded in death by parents; and husband, Dennis McGough. Survived by children, Michael ( Lorraine ) McGough, Portage; Jennifer ( Gilberto ) Gutierrez, Falling Water, W.Va; Daniel (Denise) McGough, Hamilton, Va; and Jarret McGough, Falling Water, W.VA. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Rebecca; Corey; Danielle; Kimberly; Michelle; Kristen; Ashley; Colin; Cody; and Blake and 5 great grandchildren. Sister of Jean McEwan; Hugh (Dori) McEwan; Teresa (Michael) Frakes; Katheen (Randall) Van Vranken; and Donna (Thomas) Valle. Also survived by 8 nieces and nephews. Arlene was primarily a homemaker but worked numerous jobs in the Portage Area and also worked for Computer Science Corporation in Sterling Virginia for over a decade. Friends received from 11:00 AM Saturday, December 11, 2021, until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 PM Saturday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Fr. Thomas Stabile, T.O.R. officiating. Committal in Pringle Hill Cemetery, New Germany.
