Murphy, Marilyn Grace, Infant daughter of Alexander and Joan Murphy of Summerhill, PA. Born Monday, October 16, 2023 and passed away peacefully in her parents arms on Friday, October 20, 2023. Marilyn Grace was an angel sent from God who sprouted her wings too soon. Our beautiful little girl fought incredibly hard and blessed us with immense happiness in a very difficult time. Marilyn is loved beyond words and has made a lasting impression on this world that would make any parent proud. We received many miracles during our time with her and although they may not have been the miracles we had hoped for, we are thankful God kept her free from pain and provided her time to spend with her family. Our baby girl will forever be in our hearts and will be greatly missed until we can hold her again. Marilyn is welcomed into heaven by great-grandfather Frank Yetsko, great-grandparents Cletus and LaVerne Smith, and great-grandparents Arthur and Mary Eckenrode. Marilyn will be greatly missed by those she left behind, including parents Alexander and Joan (Smith) Murphy, grandparents Matthew and Lori Murphy, grandparents Scott and Irma Smith, great-grandmother, Pauline Yetsko, and great-grandparents, Donald and Antoinette Murphy. Please watch over us all sweet Marilyn Grace. Family and friends are invited to attend the Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m., Thursday at Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Portage, with Father James Spontak, Celebrant. Comittal will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Portage. The Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage is serving the Murphy family. Online condolences may be made at serenkoclaarfuneralhome.com.
