Canning, Marie (Chambers), 79, passed away October 22, 2024 at Graystone Grande Palazzo, Altoona. Born June 27, 1945 in Portage, the daughter of Jennings and Pauline (Mattias) Chambers. Deceased family members include her parents; husband, Daniel Francis-Macauley Canning; and brother, Richard "Squeeks" Chambers. She is survived by loving daughters, Paula Campbell, Marisa (Brian) Smay, Michelle (Stephen) Cooney; Nicola Canning, Tracy (John) Allgyer. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren; Tydan, Kylie, Bailey, Aiden and Andrew. Also survived by brother, Robert (Glen Vai) Chambers. Friends received 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday Tim Guyer, Chaplain, officiating.
