Obituary
Raybould, Margaret, (Halgash), 88 passed away January 29, 2023 in Newland, NC., formerly of Portage. Born May 18, 1934 in Beaverdale, the daughter of John and Helen (Kica) Halgash. Preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, David Raybould; sister, Mary Allen; brother George Halgash and wife, Lois; brothers-in-law, Donald Richardson and George Efstathakis; and niece, Cindy Richardson. Survived by sisters Doris Efstathakis and Jean Richardson; brother-in-law Louis Allen; nieces, Patricia Doty and Marissa Sanderson; nephews, Michael and David Allen, and Timothy Richardson; and two special great nieces, Arabella and Lila Sanderson. Margaret received her RN Degree from Altoona Mercy Hospital Nursing School. Formerly employed at Lee Hospital, Johnstown; and retired as a surgical nurse for Dr. Wheeling. In the later years of her life she was lovingly cared for by her sister, Doris. Friends received from 9-10 a.m., Saturday at St. Michael's Russian Orthodox Church, Portage, where Divine Liturgy will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, with Father Gregori Tsjuman officiating. Committal at church cemetery. The Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage is serving the family. In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Michael's Church.
