Margaret M. (Lusick) Lukacs

Lukacs, Margaret M. (Lusick), 99, Lilly, passed away June 12, 2025 at home. Born March 22, 1926 in Lilly, the daughter of Paul and Mary (Koken) Lusick. Deceased family members include her parents, husband, George Lukacs; son, George R. (Bobby); grandson, Matthew Bart; son-in-law, Brian Bart; and sisters, Agnes A. Stager and Helen Baron. Survived by loving children, Mary Kay, Jeanne (Charles) Forbeck, Thomas, Rita (Robert) Parry, Barbara Bart; Dorothy Phillips and Paul (Monique). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren: Tessa, Andrea, Bobby, Ryan, Kevin, Stephen, Jamie, Brad, Kelly, Lindsey, Taylor, Sean and Bryce as well as great-grandchildren; Avery, Lola, Ava, Jenna, Leah, Mason and Lincoln; Also survived by brother, Michael (Doreen) Lusick, and many nieces and nephews. She was a graduate and Valedictorian of Lilly-Washington High School Class of 1944. She was employed by Piper's Store and Gall's Insurance Agency and enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, baking, sewing, and singing in the choir at the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Special thank you to the Windber Hospice, and caregivers, Dee and Sean. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m., Sunday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Church, Lilly.  Father Matthew Reese, celebrant. Committal will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Lilly.
