Booth, Lois J. (McCarty), 89, Portage, passed away March 19, 2021 at home. Born February 9, 1932, in Spangler, the daughter James and Gertrude (McCoy) McCarty. Deceased family members include her parents, daughter, Kelly A. Booth; grandson, Richard Booth; brothers, James, Jr., Martin McCarty, and infant brothers, Harold and William McCarty; and sisters, Ruth McGeary, Jane Wargo, Helen Phillips, and Nancy Sohl. Survived by sons, David Booth; and Richard (Trudy) Booth, Pittsburgh; and daughter, Tracy, wife of Michael Numer, Portage. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Zack and Josh Booth; and Brandon Numer.
She was the last surviving member of her
immediate family and also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Retired Nurses Aide from Ebensburg Center. Lois enjoyed baking, reading and traveling to Branson, MO. Services and interment will be private for the family. The Booth family is being served by the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage.
