Linda L. (Schnars) Chapman

Chapman, Linda L., 75, died Dec. 5, 2021 at home. Born Sept. 17, 1946 in Oil City, PA the daughter of Earl and Virginia "Jean" (Maul) Schnars. Deceased family members include her parents; daughter, Peggy Sinclair; granddaughter, Lisa Larrimore; great grandson, Braeden English; brother, David Schnars; and sisters, Janet Weyandt; Nancy Rummell; and Joyce Berkhimer. Survived by loving husband of 46 years, Clair Chapman; and children, LaMonna  (John) Wheland; Robert (Joann) Sinclair; Sally Chapman; Mandy (John) Burke; and special granddaughter and caregiver, Julie (Mitchell) Mayes. She will be sadly missed by her 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Former seamstress for the Puritan Foundation in Portage and hot food preparation cook for Giant Eagle in Richland. Avid Elvis fan and enjoyed crocheting blankets and collecting M & M figurines. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Thursday at the Serenko-Claar funeral home, PC, Portage where funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday. Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Johnstown.
