Lavon Mae (Smith) Miller

Miller, Lavon "Mae" (Smith), 82, Portage passed away October 24, 2025 at Conemaugh Miners Medical Center. Born March 22, 1943 in Portage, the daughter of Gerald A. Smith and Cleda (Mock) Baer. Deceased family members include her parents, husband Ted Miller, brothers Wilbert "Smitty" C. Smith, Gene Smith, Wayne Smith and sisters Shirley Sherman and Gloria. She is survived by daughter Tracy Crum, grandchildren Ricky and wife Jenna Crum, Dustin Crum, Dina "Crum" Bowser and husband Robert, Rick Wherry and partner Christi Plummer and Denise. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Latrelle, King, Charleigh, Joseph, RayLynn, Sophia and numerous more. She was a member of the Portage Amvets. She enjoyed cleaning, cooking and spending time with her family. The Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage is serving the Miller family.
