Kevin Lutz

Lutz, Kevin E., 49, of Portage passed away November 17, 2018 at  home. Born June 13, 1969  in Altoona, the son of  Eugene and Jane (Ulery) Lutz. Survived by his parents, grandmother Betty Ulery; children; Alexis, Caleb and Gabe; partner Mary Lynn Moore (Gressick); sister, Tracy (Steve Dupirak) Gregorich, brothers; Keith (Carly Costo), and Ken Lutz; mother of his children Tara (Molton) Van Caster. Also survived by nieces; Monica Lutz, Olivia Gregorich, Makayla and Adara Lutz.  Employed for over 25 years by API Technologies, formerly Kuchera Industries. He was a member of the Portage Moose, the Portage American Legion, the Benscreek Social Club, and an active member of the Jamestown Rod and Gun Club where he served on the farm committee. Those that knew Kevin knew that he was a very dedicated worker and his primary focus was to provide for and protect those that he loved. His favorite pastimes included throwing darts, fishing and spending time outdoors. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Pirates and Penn State football. Friends received from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage where funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be private.
