Hooder, Kathleen, "Kay", 93, Lilly, passed away May 5, 2021 at home. Born June 15, 1927 in Lilly, the daughter of John and Margaret (Bowers) Myers. Deceased family members include her parents, husband John Hooder, daughter Rose Marie Adams, grandson, Ronald F. Adams Jr. and son-in-law Ronnie Bryant. Mother of John, and wife, Kate (Funcheon) Hooder, Virginia; Kathy Bryant, Tennessee; and Gary, and wife, Arley (Grant) Hooder Sr., Martinsburg. Also survived by  grandchildren Angel, Amanda, Gary Jr., Theresa and Corey; and 8 great-grandchildren. Also survived by special niece Nancy Rowe. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and visits from her friends and family. Friends received from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Church, Lilly. Father Matthew Reese, celebrant. Committal in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Lilly.
