Parks, Karen Kay (Mangus), 57 of Johnstown, passed away January 29, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born November 15, 1961 in Johnstown. The daughter of James and Mary (McVicker) Mangus. Deceased family members include her parents, three sisters, daughter, Bonnie Jean; grandchildren, Harry Wesley Lingafelter IV and Annamae Cassick and brother in law Paul Maines. Survived by husband, Ronald D. Parks, Sr; children, Annamarie, wife of Harry Wesley Lingafelter III; Katherine, wife of Frank Cassick, Jr; Laura and fiancee Samuel McAdams; and Ronald D. Parks, Jr; grandchildren, Cheyanne and David Lingafelter, Mary, Lilly and Frank Cassick III, Sister of, Rita (Al) Gillen; James (Mary Ann) Mangus; Bertha Maines; George (Nancy) Mangus; and Darlene (John) Caddy. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She enjoyed computer games and spending time with her grandchildren. Friends received from 4-8 p.m., Monday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Pastor Josiah Smith, officiating. Burial will be in Pringle Hill Cemetery, Summerhill Twp.
