Joseph Michael "Joe" Kuisick

Kuisick, Joseph "Joe" Michael, 33, Portage, passed away October 19, 2024 at home. Born August 5, 1991 in Windber, the son Joseph (Kim) Kuisick and Christine Nyda. Deceased family members include his grandparents, Mike and Helen Zaher, and Michael Nyda; and cousin, Larry Miller. Survived by parents; grandmother, Barbara Nyda; sisters, Christy Kuisick and Leigh Ann (Craig) Cox. Also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. A 2010 graduate of Portage Area High School, where he was on the football team. Employed by Penn Metals. He enjoyed, Hunting, Fishing, Steelers and Penguins. Member of The Jamestown Rod and Gun Club and The Benscreek Club. Joe was a former Altar Server for Ss. Peter and Paul Church. Friends received from 4-8 p.m., Thursday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Panahida Services at the funeral home at 7:30, Thursday. Memorial Devine Liturgy at 10 a.m., Friday at Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Father James Spontak, celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
