Fordick, Joseph Robert, (Bob, Uncle Bob, Bobby Joe, or Uncle Joe) 74, Portage, earned his heavenly wings September 25, 2022 suffering from renal failure and other complications. Born May 2, 1948 in Portage, the son of Samuel and Mary (Fishorek / Fisher) Fordick. Deceased family members include his parents; infant brother, James; loving niece, Ashley Roudabush, and brothers in law, James Sral Sr. and David Roudabush Sr. Survived by brothers, Frank Fordick (Helen Galus) and Samuel Fordick (Carol Demko), both of Dutchtown; and sisters, and caregivers, Rose Sral, Jamestown, and Carol Roudabush, Portage. Bob was the Godfather to James Sral, Jr., David Roudabush, Sr., David Roudabush, Jr., Cherie (Fordick) Heiss, and Denise Fordick. Uncle and Great Uncle to Cindy and John Maruska (Josh and Matthew); Chris and Bill Patterson (Meghan, Brittany, and Holly); Connie Krumenaker, widow of Kevin Krumenaker, (Kayla, and Kristen); Frank J, and Jen (Earnest) Fordick (Leanna and Frank Fordick III) Cherie and Vinnie Heiss (Chase and Connor); Crystal and Jeff Hite (Dallas, Dillon, and Calsey); Denise Fordick (Jayden, McKenna, and Kaley); Samantha and Ron Markovitz (Haley); James Jr. and Kelly (Packauski )Sral ( Macy and Brock); Steve and Pam (Balough) Sral (Cody); Jeffrey Sral; and David and Kate (Wills) Roudabush (Harper and Camden). Also survived by 3 Great Great Nieces; 2 Great Great Nephews; and 1 Great Great Nephew on the way. Formerly employed by K & B Sportswear and Steinman Ribbon and Trophy. Bob loved all sports and attending his nieces and nephews sports events. Avid bowler with a 300 game. Diehard fan of Penn State, Steelers, Pirates, and Portage Mustangs. Life long member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and member of the Sacred Heart Ushers Club. Life member of Jamestown Rod and Gun Club. Uncle Bob was loved by all and will certainly be missed by all who knew him, especially by his sisters and caregivers, Rose and Carol. To honor Uncle Bob, please dress casually in jeans with Penn State, Pirate, Steeler or Mustang shirts or shirts of your favorite team. Friends will be received from 2-4, p.m., Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. Committal will be private.
