Joseph Basile

Basile, Joseph, 76, of Lilly passed away May 16, 2019. Born September 11, 1942 in Portage, the son of Frank and Linda Basile. Deceased family members include his parents. He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Basile and Amy (Drew) Boggs; grandson Aden Boggs and step-daughter Krysi (Brandon) Myers; sisters Carol (Bob) Klein and Mary Fran (Rick) Eves. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was an U.S. Army Veteran. He was the former owner of Basile's Mobil Service Station in Portage. He enjoyed going to classic car shows, being a handyman, and spending time with his friends and family. At Joseph's request, there will be no public visitation. Friends and family are invited to a Graveside Service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson. The Basile family is being served by the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage.
