John C. "Butch" Gibbons

Gibbons, John C. "Butch", 77, Lilly, passed away June 16, 2023 at home. Born May 28, 1946 in Pittsburgh, the son of John and Violet (Hoover) Gibbons. Deceased family members include his parents; step father, Harold "Lem" Pennington; brother, Pat Gibbons, and sister, Jane Gallagher. Survived by wife of 27 years, Suzanne (Behe) Gibbons and brother, Silas (Nancy) Gibbons. Butch served in the U.S. Army and retired from the maintenance department of the Allegheny Lutheran Home in Hollidaysburg. He enjoyed going to Sheetz for coffee, camping, and collecting Budweiser Steins. Friends received from 2-5 p.m., Sunday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage where funeral services will be held at 5 p.m., Sunday, Pastor Jerry Zuvers, officiating.
