Jack V. Irwin

Irwin, Jack V., 87, Portage, passed away April 1, 2024 at home. Born December 22, 1936 in Mansfield, OH, the son of Harry and Doris (Helman) Irwin. Deceased family members include his parents; wife, Fay E. (Singel) Irwin; brother, Raymond Irwin; and, sisters, Eileen, Barb, Joyce, and Nancy. Survived by son, John Irwin, married to the former Debbie Gibson; and granddaughter, Renee Irwin and (fiancee Sam Speigel); and sister, Lee McGuire. U.S. Marine veteran. Retired Electrician from IBEW Local 5. Life member of the Portage Revolver and Pistol Club and Assistant Coach and  Instructor of the  High School Rifle team and Junior Club rifle team. Endowment member of the NRA. Friends received from 6-8 PM Thursday at the Serenko - Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral services and committal will be private for the family.
