Helen (Kunish) Zaher

Zaher, Helen (Kunish), 93, of Benscreek, passed away October 9, 2024 at Rebekah Manor, Portage. Born March 9, 1931 in Lilly. Deceased family members include her parents; husband, Michael Zaher; and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Joseph Kuisick and wife Kimberly and grandchildren: Christy and Joseph. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Helen was a seamstress, working for various sewing factories. Friends received from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Parish, Caldwell Avenue, Portage. Father Tom Stabile, TOR, celebrant. Committal will be in St. Bartholomew Cemetery, Wilmore.
