Geraldine (Krug) Weakland

Weakland, Geraldine, 93, Portage, passed away July 17, 2024 at Homewood at Martinsburg. Born April 2, 1931, in Munster, the daughter of Archie and Eleanor (Hite) Krug. Deceased family members include her parents; husband, Carl Weakland; daughter, Nancy Earhart;  grandson, Raymond; infant daughter Anna; brothers and sisters, Robert Krug; Patricia Sheehan; and James Krug; and son-in-law, Bill Arford. Survived by children, Paul (Stephanie); Shirley, wife of Marty Karduck; Bill (Cathy); Jerry (Kathy); Mary Lou Arford; Joyce, wife of Paul Moses; and Rick (Dawn). Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and son-in-law, Bill Earhart. Sister of, Richard, George, Paul, Joseph, Jack, Donna Soisson, Mildred Bengle, and Laverne Lythgoe. She enjoyed her dogs, quilting, canning and farm life. Friends received from 2-6 p.m., Sunday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday at Holy Family Parish, (formerly St. Joseph's Church), Portage, Father Tom Stabile, T.O.R., celebrant. Entombment will be in Holy Name Mausoleum, Ebensburg.
