Eunola “Nola” Jean Fletcher, 89, Portage, passed away on September, 2, 2025, at the Franciscan Care Center. She was born on August 14, 1936 in Portage. The daughter of Clair and Eunola (Lysinger) Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 62 years, Richard “Dick” Fletcher; son, Forrest Fletcher; daughter, Valerie Fletcher; brothers, Clair “Slug” Adams and Ben Adams; sisters, Marie Bozich and Gloria Tewart. Survived by brothers, Charlie Adams and Herbert "Hubba" Adams; daughter, Vanessa (Steve) Woronec of La Salle, MI and son, Keith (Donna) Fletcher of Duncannon, PA. Also survived by grandchildren, Nicole (Dustin) Perkins, Anthony Woronec, Jared (Laura) Harper and great-grandchildren, Alexander, Keith, Lance, Serentiy, Vladimer, Genevieve, Declan, and Olivia. Nola Jean will be missed by her family and friends. Nola Jean loved her family, especially around Christmas time. For many years Nola and her sisters worked diligently to plan the Adams family Christmas party for everyone to celebrate Christmas. Some fond memories from her grandchildren are picking wild raspberries to make pies, taking them to various places like Portage Park, Hershey Park, and walking to get ice cream. Final goodbyes will be Saturday September 13, 2025 from 10-12 noon at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, followed by a memorial service and interment in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Blue Knob.
