Eugene A. "Gene" Snyder

Snyder, Eugene A. "Gene", 79, of Jessup, MD; passed away January 9, 2023, quietly at Panda Family Care. Born June 8, 1943 in Orbisonia, PA the son of James and Sarah (Booher) Snyder. Deceased family members include his parents, and sister, Nancy Thomas. Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Maureen (Muldoon) Snyder; and brother, James Snyder, Jr.  Gene enjoyed boating, fishing, and hunting but first and foremost his greatest pleasure was creating memories with his nieces and nephews, family, extended family of in-laws and friends.  He will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era and a Self Employed Printing Company Owner. Friends will be received from 2-5 pm, Friday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, and from 10-11 am, Saturday where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Pastor Bob Monahan, Officiating. Committal will be in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Lilly. Military rites by Lilly Veterans Organizations.
