Petney, Elizabeth, 81, of Portage, passed away March 26, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center. Born January 20, 1942 in Portage, the daughter of John Petney, Jr. and Pauline (Molnar) Petney. Deceased family members include her parents; brother, Paul Petney; and uncle George Petney. Survived by her sister Pauline Petney, South Lyon, MI; and nephew, Christopher John Petney married to the former Claire Wagner, Orange Park, FL and great niece, Emily Pauline Petney. Also survived by numerous cousins. Retired secretary from the government. At Elizabeth's request, services and burial will be private. The Petney family is being served by the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage.
