Dickman, Eleanor “Ida” Dorothy, (Barlick) 91, of Hollidaysburg, passed away June 8, 2020 at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. Born February 20, 1929, in Washington Township, the daughter of Stephen and Mary (Patrick) Barlick. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hyman “Hy” Dickman; her son Paul Edwards; brothers and sisters, John Barlick, Ambrose Barlick, Pauline Podzervinski, and Paul Barlick; Survived by her son Mark Edwards and wife Margie, and daughter-in-law Teresa Edwards; grandchildren Douglas (Ashley) Edwards, Steven (Brittany) Edwards and Megan Edwards; great-grandchildren Harper, Noah and Luke Edwards; sisters Clara Szuch, Margaret Olsavsky and Patricia Lukosavich; brother, Michael Barlick and his wife Linda; and numerous nieces and nephews. Previous residences include Paterson and Nutley, NJ, Ebensburg, Cresson and ultimately becoming a resident in the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. She was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict from 1952 – 1954. Previous employment included Stern's Quakenbush and United Yarn in Paterson, NJ. She enjoyed being a volunteer for the Little Sisters of the Poor while living in Paterson, NJ. Her most cherished moments were spending time with her loving grandchildren. Friends received from 4-7, p.m., Thursday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. A graveside service will be held on Friday at St. Brigids Cemetery, Lilly at 11 am, Deacon Samuel Albarano, officiating. Military rites by Lilly Veterans Organizations.
