Edward Stevens

Stevens, Edward, 73, Portage, passed away October 26, 2018 at UPMC Altoona. Born June 16, 1945 in Lilly, the son of Edward and Florence (Costlow) Stevens. Deceased family members include his parents; wife, Margaret M. (Fox) Stevens, who passed away October 30, 2014.Survived by children, Mary, wife of Shawn McCoy, Portage; Edward Stevens and wife Jennifer, Tyrone, GA; Margaret, wife of Steven Warfield, Ebensburg; and Samuel Stevens, Portage. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Emily, Jake, Alexis and Isabella. He courageously battled cancer for the last two years. Retired from North American Communications with 19 years service.  Formerly employed at  Beth Energy Mines. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and going to Antique Car shows. Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Parish, Caldwell Avenue, Portage.
