Myers, Edward, S., Jr., "Ted", 86 Cassandra, passed away November 25, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 3, 1935 in Washington Twp. The son of Edward S. Sr. and Mathelda (Baker) Myers. Deceased family members include his parents; sister, Mary Ellen Pearson; and infant Children, Kathryn, Mark and John. Survived by loving wife of 65 years which they would have celebrated on November 25, 2021, Phyllis (Benshoff) Myers; and children, Susan, wife of Michael Stager; Edward P. Myers and fiance Joyce Hoover; Barbara, wife of Thomas M. Krcha; Matthew and wife Renee (Smith); Daniel and wife, Carrie (Horn). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Tabatha, wife of Todd Learn, Jocelyn, wife of Thomas McCabe; Marissa (Stevie) Myers; Travis Stiffler; Cassidy Myers; Julia (Adam) Myers; Trista Krcha; and great grandchildren, Taylor and Riley Learn; and one on the way. Also survived by nieces, nephews and brothers-in-law. Owner and operator of Ted's Mainline Farms, Myers Backhoe Service and Cemetery Care, and HWZ Coal Yard. Life member of Lilly Fire Company and Past Fire Chief Of Cassandra Fire Company. One of the first paramedics in cambria county and served as paramedic for the Portage Area Ambulance Association for many years. Member of the Mainline Police Association and former chief of Cassandra Boro Police and also served as a Forest Fire Warden. Past board member of Portage Area Ambulance Association. Ted was very instrumental in construction of both Lilly and Cassandra Fire Stations. Ted had a very high standard of morals and work ethic which he instilled into his children, making them who they are today and continuing his legacy. Friends received from 4 to 8 PM Sunday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home PC. Portage where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday. Lilly Fire Company Memorial Service at 6PM Sunday.
