Smay, Edna F. "Eddie", 74, of Saint Michael, passed away April 23, 2024 at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 13, 1950 in Bronx, New York, the daughter of Eugene and Iris (Simmons) Bursee. Deceased family members include her parents; sisters, Eileen Erps, and Theresa Martzall, and brother-in-law Ira Hanin. Survived by loving husband of 50 years, Gary Smay, Sr.; children, John (Christi) Smay, Brian (Marisa) Smay, Monica Smith, Eric (Terra) Smay, and Step son Gary (Kelly) Smay, Jr.; grandchildren, Kylie, Haidyn, Quinn, Rylee, Amilyah, Bailey, Caiden, Rayna, Keegan, and Andrew. Sister of, Jeanie Hanin, Susan (Ben) Roth, Kathy (Thomas) Zambrano, Harry (Ann Marie) Bursee, and Joni (Izzy) Castiglia. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and "Boating Family". She enjoyed boating on the Hudson River and Raystown Lake, spending time with her family and grandchildren and her plants. She liked to dance, listen to music and wanted everyone to remember the good times. The family suggests memorial donations be made on the Facebook Go Fund Me Memorial page.
