Donna (Gouse) Gates

Gates, Donna (Gouse), 80, of Mineral Point, formerly of Portage, passed away August 29, 2025 at home. Born July 28, 1945 in Johnstown, the daughter of Frank and Lucy (Reale) Gouse.  Deceased family members include her parents and brother-in-law Ray Berkheimer. Survived by her loving husband of 56 years William (Bill) Gates, Sr; and son, William (Bill) Gates Jr. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Brion, Alexandria (Josh), and Kourtney Gates. Also survived by sister, Linda Berkheimer and her sons, Jason, Matt and Brian and families. Donna was very witty and known for telling jokes and also for her generosity. She enjoyed bowling, going to the casino and crocheting. Retired from Kroger in the deli department.  Friends received from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, where funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Father Matthew Reese, officiating, Committal will be in St. Bartholomew  Cemetery, Wilmore.
