Diane L. (Martin) Waksmunski

Waksmunski, Diane. L., 63, of  Portage passed away December 7, 2020 at home. Born May 11, 1957 in Johnstown, the daughter of Duwayne and Bernetta (Haddon) Martin. Deceased family members include her father, son, Neil Francis Waksmunski and sister Barbara Pokos. Survived by mother Bernetta; and loving husband of 38 years, Francis "Waxy" Waksmunski. Sister of Denise (Frank) Boring and Dawn (Ron) Sterling. Also survived by nieces and nephew David (Vanessa) Boring Jr., Melanie and Natalie Sterling; great-nephews Lucas Boring and Dalton Gable; brother in laws Mark (Linda) Pokos; Ed (Cindy) Waksmunski, Kevin Waksmunski, Gary (Elizabeth) Waksmunski; and sister in law Carolyn Blake. Retired nurse from the Ebensburg Center. She liked camping at Glendale, traveling to Ocean City Maryland, and shooting trap for Laurel Run Rod and Gun Club. She also enjoyed reading and knitting. Friends received from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Father Paul Zomerfeld officiating. Committal in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Polish National Catholic Cemetery, Lilly.
