George, Deborah M. 53, of Portage, passed away March 28, 2020 at home, surrounded by her family. Born on September 28, 1966, in Johnstown, the daughter of Arthur D. and Mary Jane (Poborski) George. Preceded in death her father. Survived by her mother Mary Jane, sisters, Brenda Stager; and Dianne, wife of Allen Novotny; and brother, Daniel George; nieces and nephews, Heather; Travis; and Kevin Stager; and Alexis Novotny, and fiancee', Brenden Valko. Also survived by great nieces, Paisley and Alaya; great nephew, Kamden; uncles, William (Jane) Poborski; her godfather, Andrew "Junior" (Michele) Poborski; and Joseph (Sandy) Ponczek; and several aunts and uncles on the George side of the family. A special thanks to the many caregivers that have touched her life over the years. She had a great wit and loved to laugh and enjoyed the Steelers and celebrating her birthday. All funeral services will be private for the immediate family only. The George family is being served by the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage.
